List of useful scripts to enhance Firefox for Geocaching

There are a many scripts written by fellow geocachers to improve Firefox to find or display geocaching information on the web pages. The scripts are NOT hosted here. This page only gives you links to where the scripts can be found. Please report any 'dead' links to info @ follow-the-arrow.co.uk. These scripts require Greasemonkey to be installed in Firefox. The first link to L'il Devils page gives simple instructions on installing Greasemonkey and the scripts. If you know of other scripts that you'd like to share here then let me have the links.

Thank you to all who have written and made these scripts available to share.

Simple to use HTML editor for Firefox - Xinha

This link is for Xinha version 0.15 which is compatible with Firefox 3.5 and below (link to install the add-on)
This link is for Xinha version 0.16 which is compatible with Firefox 3.6 (link to website - select version 0.16)
Install the addon. Then open a cache page in edit mode, then right click in the description. You'll see the Xinha option appear. If you select 'Open Xinha here' the editor opens at the bottom of the screen with the description text in it and off you go! You can create font styles, add images and all sorts. If it is a new cache the edit box is empty, but if you open an existing page with lots of text in the description it automatically puts it into Xinha ready for you to edit.

Tip..... if you are a bit unsure, copy all the text of your description first and save it as a text file. Then if your editing goes all pear shaped you can always past the original text back in!
